Outside Sales Representative – Masonry Hardscape Industry

ORCO Hardscapes is seeking a self-motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative with experience in the masonry hardscape or construction industry specifically Mortarless Walls. This role is ideal for someone with a background in civil engineering or experience working alongside civil engineers who is eager to grow sales and build lasting industry relationships. For the Inland Empire and the Los Angeles Territory (Must reside on South LA or the Inland Empire).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow SRW sales within the Inland Empire and Los Angeles markets
  • Call on civil engineers to promote and help specify ORCO mortarless wall systems and Allan Block products – main priority.
  • Deliver professional presentations on wall systems to engineers and industry professionals
  • Build and maintain relationships with segmental retaining wall (SRW) contractors
  • Generate new business while managing and supporting existing accounts, including stocking dealers
  • Collaborate with engineers and contractors to develop SRW wall specifications
  • Maintain and expand ORCO’s presence within the assigned territory

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a civil engineering environment or at least 2 years of education in civil engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in the construction or hardscape industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
  • Proven ability to generate new business and maintain client relationships
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and accountability
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Some computer skills, excel and CRM experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid California driver’s license with excellent driving record.
  • Able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. for 10 feet.
  • Able to work legally in the United States
  • Pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Benefits:

Market competitive salary + performance bonus + profit sharing (upon entry into the plan). Position includes company vehicle, laptop computer and company smartphone. Generous medical/dental/vision benefits.

Salary Range:

$77,000 to $98,000, based on experience.

Additional Information:

ORCO will provide a list of existing engineers and contractors within the territory; however, the ideal candidate will take initiative to expand and grow the customer base. Job Type: Full-time. Work Location: In person
