Shot Blast

Lightly textured through a controlled abrasive blasting process that gradually exposes natural aggregates, creating subtle depth without the ruggedness of split face block. Used in load-bearing and non-load-bearing residential and commercial applications. Meets or exceeds ASTM C90 standards.

High Stress CMU (3250 psi) available at additional cost. High stress units contain additional cement and may appear slightly lighter in color than standard units. Always request physical samples. White color has no high stress option.

Intergral Water Repellant (IWR) option available at additional cost. Be sure to pair IWR block with OBP Type-S IWR mortar.

Special Order aggregates - like all black cinder, pumice, etc. - provide attractive alternative exposures. Available at additional cost.
