A. ABSORPTION
[NRC .85]
SOUNDBLOX wall as a sound ABSORBER. Sound energy is absorbed
rather than reflected, dramatically reducing "reverberation
times" |

|
B. BARRIER [STC 56] SOUNDBLOX
partition walls, in an enclosed space, act a BARRIER, greatly
reducing sound energy from being transmitted to an adjacent
room, increasing speech privacy. When used as an outside, free
standing barrier, the high STC assured maximum performance.

C. COMPOSITE: An "Absorptive
Barrier"
In addition to sound absorption, SOUNDBLOX walls have superior sound
transmission loss characteristics when compared to ordinary hollow
core CMU's made of similar aggregates. The combination of an "Absorptive
Barrier" makes SOUNDBLOX ideal for applications such as Highway
and Railway Noise Barriers and Transformer Noise Screens.
